Can I book with a particular babysitter?Yes you certainly can! At Sitters Studio our aim is to provide your children with a fun, creative and enthusiastic babysitter. If there is a babysitter you have had in the past that your children really liked then please request them. If you are a first timer with us, please go to our Sitter link and that will provide you with different sitter choices and their bios.Can I arrange future bookings directly through my regular babysitter, or do I need to call the agency every time?Please arrange all appointments through the agency to avoid any scheduling conflicts.How do I pay for the service?Hourly booking rate and cancellation fees are charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking. Cab fare and optional tip should be paid directly to the sitter in cash.How far in advance do I need to book an appointment?Depending upon sitter availability, we will do our best to accommodate your booking requests up to 2 hours before the booking.If my child has any allergies and/or is sick and in need of medication, will the babysitter be able to administer it?Medicine can be administered to a child as long as the babysitter feels comfortable and there has been expressed permission from the parents to do so.If I book an appointment for the 4-hour minimum am I expected to be back at that exact time?The 4-hour minimum is only a minimum, however, please inform the sitter if the evening is running later than the scheduled booking.Will the babysitter also be responsible for light household cleaning?The sitter is responsible for leaving the house in its original condition.Do you do background checks on all your sitters?Sitters Studio prides itself on not only providing your family with creative and fun sitters but also keeping your family safe and secure. All of the sitters are required to provide references and to ensure optimum safety, background checks are mandatory.What is a ‘tote of toys’?A ‘tote of toys’ is a little tote bag filled with fun and interesting activities that the sitter will bring with them to engage your children in play.
Babysitters are employed solely by the Client and are not employees of Sitters Studio (Formerly Sitters in the City). The Client and sitter acknowledge that Sitters Studio (Formerly Sitters in the City) is not responsible for, and will be held harmless against, any injury, loss, or other damage arising from or related in any manner to the Client or babysitter’s use of the Sitters Studio (Formerly Sitters in the City) Babysitting Agency.
