Our daycare kids have been reading a wonderful children’s book on visual art, I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More, by Karen Beaumont. They all love it and ask for it “by name,” except there is no consensus on the exact verbiage of the title. Perhaps the publisher might want to consider a few of their suggestions in an upcoming print run. Several of them prefer something more concise – they call it, “No More Paint.” Our most articulate two year old refers to the big yellow book as “I Am Not Going to Paint Any More.” He seems to be just a touch concerned by the grammatical errors. But don’t let this controversy deter you. Even with the title as published, this book comes highly recommended by all of our 2- and 3-year-olds!
